This animal is not ideal for a reef tank in my opinion. I inherited it with a fish only system that I later converted to a reef system. It was living with an adult annularis, an adult queen angel, and an adult blue-face angel. It is reclusive and doesn't like the open. Almost the moment I began adding snails to help with algae this lobster began slicing them out of their shells with it's sharply pointed legs. It's a voracious predator of all snails.
