can any one i.d this little critter for me it was found in my reef tank
when my fish started to go missing
the rock is from Fiji but iv no idea what type of crab it is
the only thing i know is it has expensive taste in food .
I have the same crab. it came in on some rock I got off the cost of pensacola, fl. I don't know what it is but if i find out I'll tell you. Please do the same for me.
I don't have this yet out of my Fiji rock but will look it up and try to tell you guys.
Some sort of rock crab, black clawed, or red crab? that's what I found a bit ago will work on the research more tomorrow
not something you want it is a predatorial swimmer crab
i have one like that but mine is hairy don't know how he got in sure is hunger fellow ate my shimps and fish before i caught him. let me know also if you find a name. better than what i call him.
I am from Texas and we have a wild crab here we call the stone-claw crab. They are endangered so yo can only keep 1 right hand claw to eat but they grow 6 in +... it looks very similar
