Max. size: 6.0 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment: reef-associated; marine; depth range 1 - 18 m
Climate: tropical; 24 - 26°C
Distribution: Western Pacific: Ryukyu Islands to Austra
I have a 7 1/2 foot marin tank and i have had a female mandarin in it for 2 years, when i added a male to the tank she swam over as he was let out of the bag, they both swam off to gether and where trying to breed in the water in flow area of my tank for about a week untill he died from a bit from one of my maroon clown fish that are breeding aswell in a hole shell rear the in flow area of the tank.
 
I absolutely love these. They are so beautiful. I have been trying to find a great picture like yours to save on my computer for a background. Any ideas where to find one that is .jpg!?!
