Longfin Anthias

I am fairly cirtain that this is actually a photo of Pseudanthias hawaiiensis. I have Ventralis myself, it was reluctant to take food initially, however in its last week of quarantine it is now eating varaciously. I feed frozen preperations ie: cyclop eeze, brine, mysid, clam, blood worms, I use the mixture and add garlic extreme and selcon. My Ventralis also eats formula one pelets, I believe the school of green chromis he was kept with in quarantine got him interested in feeding, he seemed to pay much attention to them, and other fishes. I got lucky and mine seems to feel very comfortable in the open, even when there are lots of people near the tank. I keep my aquarium temperatures between 75 and 77 degrees ferenheight, lighting is bright, 14k metal halide lamps. I may have just been lucky, but this seemed to work for him!
