Alveoporas

Acquired Spring of 2001
Thanks! I am trying to work up the nerve to frag them. Unfortunately, it would have to be done "in-tank", as it would be hard to remove either of them.

I know I will get in trouble for this but: I have trouble when I see pictures like this. That is a bubble coral sitting right next to the daisy coral. Bubbles are very strong and aggressive corals. Daisys will aggressive also, but are tuff to keep to keep corals. What is the likelyhood of it living for any time next to a bubble coral?

Almost two years so far. The side of the alveopora skeleton next to the bubble coral has no polyps on it (bubble is winning that one), but the rest of the alveopora is doing fine (and has for some time). I think they came to an agreement that if the alveopora doesn't put any polyps out in the bubble's direction, the bubble will let it stay there.

Note - current is very mild, and in the left to right direction. This bubble does not extend long sweepers.
