Common Name: Rock-boring urchin

This is a common hitchhiking urchin. Bore holes in rock, as photo shows, and use their spines to hide. Effective algae eater, but also eats coralline algae. Caution coral placement and loose rockwork, as these critters can knock things over as they move around.
