I'm fairly new to this, but couldn't find it on my own... The pink stuff is spongious (sponge? :)) and there are small "stars" coming out of it. Anyone?
I have a 12" x 4" rock totally encrusted with this ...it is an encrusting gorgonian per the LFS where I bought it....grows extremely fast and will take over anything it touches...When covered and polyped out a good sized rock appears almost alive with the long polyp movement in the water. Hope this helps!
