Characters: Colonies are massive or form thick plates. They are meandroid with short, widely separated valleys interconnected with light blistery coenosteum. Septa are large, solid, smooth edged, exsert and widely spaced. Walls are solid. Columellae are absent. Tentacles are extended only at night.
