Characters: Colonies are small and compact with short knobby branches. Verrucae are small and crowded. Corallites are crowded on verrucae. Colour: Dark rust-brown or greenish-brown. Similar species: Pocillopora meandrina, which has less crowded corallites and more upright branches. See also P. kelle
