These small reef-safe herbivores scavenge on microalgae including diatoms. They are nocturnal, fast moving, and reproduce well without the presence of predators. These Trochoidean gastropods have a slug-like appearance with a smal
I have seen these occasionally.. just after the lights are turned on..
I have a young dragon wrasse.. and if these snails were diurnal, I'm sure they would be eaten.

Ive got lots of these in my 30 gal. Both the color shown and in black with a few mixed ones showing up. they reproduce almost every other week. The babies show up as 1/16" dots on the live rock and glass. The is no preditation in the tank to speak of, so they are multiplying fast. They only seem to eat algae off the rocks seldom on the glass. Its nice to have a constant supply of algea eaters
