Anyhow, I think I got the problem figured out. I just need to order two straight 4-pin endcaps, attach them to the inside of the hood (will drill new holes in reflector to affix), and then I will be able to use the Coralife 16" 36 watt bulbs. I'll need to e drill new holes because I don't want the 16" bulb to be too close to the end of the hood - currently they take a 13" bulb. This should leave about 3/4" clearance and that ought to do it.
This should work because it currently takes 32 watt bulbs and the ballast in there is rated for 40 watt. Upgrade theoretically shouldn't cost more than $10 plus new bulbs.

Do you sell Refugiums? If you do what brand and how much are you asking?

Just got a couple of Discus and am not finding good info on Discus food in lewiston. What do you have in Spokane that you would recommend for these beautiful fish...previous owner fed mostly live Tubeflex worms. Pulman seems to be the closest supply of these if that is an OK food.
