How long should the metal halides be turned on for a 125 gallons? I have a milipora, a toungue, a brain, polyps, mushrooms, a toadstool, a few devils gloves, a bubble coral, a torch and a few others.- ATP123

Green Hair Algae
Hey, My 125 gallon is full of GHA (see pic) and i don't know how to get rid of it. My nitrates and my phosphate are 0, but they still grow. I have a refugim and a cheato of a size of two base ball and that killed some of the algae, but it keeps growing. I have 5 emerald crabs in there, but they...- ATP123

wow. i need a lot more snails for my bigger tank lol. I just got 5 snails and 5 scarlet hermits for my new tank as a start thanks for the suggestions- ATP123

Hi, I just started a new reef tank (38 gallons) and I saw in a book it says I need 10 snails and 4 hermit crabs for 20 gallons and does that mean i need 20 snails and 8 crabs in my tank? If so, that means my 125 gallons reef that i got from a friend will need A LOT MORE snails/crabs than what...- ATP123
