    T5 LED bulbs

The specific article might be for the CPC buld but the 1nd sentence talks about the T5 LED replacement: "Econlux, a German manufacturer of general and industrial lighting has figured out a way to make an LED light which is powered by the ballast of your stock power compact, T5 or T8...

    T5 LED bulbs

The second link is for a plug-in replacement that connects into a T5 outlet; isn't that what you are looking for?

    Calcium Monitor

There is one from PinPoint and I have one from American Marine. It's OK but a real pain to use since you need to calibrate each use so I hardly ever use it anymore.

    Calcium Monitor

Not at all; there really is no such thing as a Calcium Monitor; there are Calcium probes but they are for taking readings; an attempt to use one continuously would leave you with a dead probe.

You can use http://sites.google.com/site/acserial2web/ with the ACJr and get email; you need to have the Jr connected to the PC all the time but you can do it. Apex has it all built-in so it is much easier but you can do it with the Jr if you wanted.

    Tank Crashing

Big difference between .025 and the .25 that OP is reporting.

    Tank Crashing

There can be trace amounts of copper (sea water can have value to 0.030 mg/L); a tank should have nearly undetectable but stricly speaking you can have trace amounts.

    Tank Crashing

From experience (I've had a penny dropped in my tank before) and I don't think a penny did this but the amonia is of concern. More water changes to keep the amonia down while the (hopefully) biological filter in the tank repairs itself.

    Tank Crashing

Sorry to hear about your tank... Carbon can be your friend at this point; put as much carbon, at least a couple cups worth (preferably have water flow-through) and that sould help quickly remove any polutants or toxins that may be in the water.

This might be what I was thinking about: http://ledaquarium.com/aquarium-led.html This might be even better: http://reefbuilders.com/2010/05/28/econlux-plug-play-led-replacements-power-compacts-t5-t8-fluorescent-tubes/

    T5 LED bulbs

Sorry, not them; I remember seeing them when I was researching my LED options (ended up going with a 72" AI unit) but now I can't locate the site. I'll keep looking and let you know if I can find them again.

Thanks for the kind note and glad to hear the coral is happy and healthy; sounds like you gave it a good home :)

Have you looked at AquaIlluminations; I thought they had something like this?

The update fixes some bugs (mosly minor) from previous versions, changes the graphing and adds support for the 2 new modules being released this month; an EB4 (all-ralay, AC control box with heavy duity relays) and the VDM (a modules that can control the AquaIlluminations LED and also includes 4...

Update to beta 1 just came online; all known issues have been fixed in this one... The bugs found in the first beta release have been corrected, and the latest can be download from here: www.neptunesys.com/apex_4_04.zip Curt

Nice :) You got a display to correct; that should have been part of the package? Suggestion for the conductivity probe; it prefers slow water movement for best accuracy, no micro-bubbles and dark (like any probe to help keep it from collecting algae). Do this and you will be very happy with...

    Who uses a canister filter?

Technically I don't run a canister filter but I do use a BulkReefSupply water filter canister for carbon and on occasion GFO. Not sure this counts or not...

It sounds like you need to forward 2 places; the public internet to the internal router (done in the modem) and the router to the controller (done in the router). Basically you have a double-NAT environment.

Ping me if you need help; in addition to the unifficial manual I have some images of port forward screens for some routers on my website. What router are you using?
