My 40 breeder led light build

Hello RF... in an effort to expand this addictive hobby, after all the inputs from friends (rukis) and retailer support (Rob @ RedC), I decided that I needed an LED light fixture to not only advance the life in my tank, but the looks of it as well. While it would have been simple to cough up...

    Bigger is definitely better

@DannyT204 - Thank you!!! I built the stand a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday, stained it on a Sunday. I left it outside to air out the smell for a week. I had the tank plumbed and completed the change over from my BioCube in a day...took about 8 hours from painting the back to mounting the...

@peppie - Its actually a friends workshop that he was courteous enough for me to use. I am pretty comfortable in a wood shop and handy with the power tools *Tim (The Tool Man) Taylor grunt*. I had a blast putting this together. THANKS RUKIS

    Bigger is definitely better

With acquiring the tank for free, I decided to build a stand in the thought that it would be cheaper than...

    My "New" BioCube 29

So I acquired the BioCube from "rukis" who had it running prior to his 40 gallon breeder upgrade. The tank still has its stock lighting of a 50/50 12K ( I believe) and full actinic 36 watt bulbs.

    New to the Game

Hello RF and fellow addicts. I have been fortunate to be introduced or convinced to start this new hobby of mine. A friend and coworker has given me a great deal on a BioCube 29 gallon as my starter tank and have been spending dollar after dollar to get it up. I can see how this can be so...
