    Why the aggression

Sometimes it can help to rearange the rockwork. alternatively you could put the HFW in a Quarantine tank for a few weeks so the blue sided can get established in the new tank and then try to reintroduce the HFW. Assuming you have a QT that is

    70W MH on a 45 Gallon?

If you were considering purchasing this light I would say definitely go bigger. Even if you're not planning on having SPS chances are sooner or later you'll see some that you just MUST have and you'll be upgrading your lighting. However, since you already have the light this should be a good way...

lookin to buy a new camera.

I've been looking into the digital rebels as well. The most important difference between point and shoot and SLR is the SLRs capability for closeup shots. As I have found its quite difficult to get good closeup reeftank shots out of a standard Point and Shoot camera.

    Anthias Food

hmm, I tried feeding arctic pods which is what cyclopeeze is, I think, but they would just spit it out. Also they won't eat brine or pellet food.

    Anthias Food

Ok I'm trying to figure out what would be the best food for a purple queen anthias and a sunburst anthias. So far the only thing they've shown interest in is krill but they're very timid eaters. Any suggestions?

    QT Sponge Filter

Don't see why not. Most of the local LFS around here carry them tough, cheap too.

Adding soft corals in and introducing bacteria or ich?

Glad your fish are doing better. No corals, anemonies and other iverts do not carry ich. Only fish. As a precaution you might want to dip them before adding them. Many people will tell you to quarantine them fror weeks as well but I don't believe many people actually do. Depends on your...

    Formula two

10 sec. in the microvave practically liquifies it but I don't think it's too great for whatever nutrients are in the food. I've tried to mash it up but it just seems like all the resulting clumps are either too big or too small

    Formula two

I'm trying to figure out how to best feed this. The other frozen foods I've bought will readily dissolve in a little tank water but this stuff not a chance. To much gelatin stuff. If I try throwing in a cube my fire shrimp grabs it and dissapears to the back of the tank with it.:confused:

    ebay lighting system

It looks identical to the odyssea fixture I'm using except mine is 48". Basically looks like half of what I have. So far it has worked great for me with the exception of one pc ballast burning out. cost me 15 bux to replace so no biggie, Only time will tell but I like it so far. BTW will that...

    Aiptasia Anemone removal question

Yeah I never actually saw them eat one either. But since at the time the only thing in the tank was rock with aiptaisia and peppermints I don't hesitate to make the connection. They must be doing it at night.

    pellet foods for marine fish

I've been feeding ORA pellet food and all my fish and shrimp seem to love it. I alternate with other foods but I think it would be good for a pellet feeder if one needed to be used.

    Potter Angel

csababubbles what do you feed him? I'm considering one and I've heard they can be finicky eaters.

    Aiptasia Anemone removal question

I have used peppermint shrimp successfully but it seem like they'll only eat the small ones so For me the best aproach it to nuke the big ones with kalk paste and then use peppermints to control the possible outbreak of small ones. So far so good (knocks on wood)

    Which Anemone for False Percs?

which is better??Oceanic bio -cube or Fission nano skimmer?

Thanks Rob. It is the lid for the skimmer cup that is chipped and for the record It was my fault for dropping it. But If you can get me a new one I can't think of a better excuse to come back to your very nice store again. I have it up and running but it's on a newly set up cube with so far only...

    LED Question

I looked up the specs for a replacement unit and its 12v 400mA. There are only two blue LEDs on this circuit and as I mentioned the transformer I plugged them into runs them just fine. I just wanted to make sure that it wouldn't overpower them and burn them out prematurely.
