    we have: 2 maxi 1200s: 590 1 maxi 400: 106 1 seo 820: 800 mag9 return: 950, about 500 with head loss before the scwd mod thats roughly 2000gph /70g total volume w/sump. right about 28.5x turnover in our 58g display. we had issues with clarity for the first month or so, but now the sand doesnt...

    A new hydrometer huh? The tank has only been set up for about 4 months and it cant be much older than that. Is that something that should be replaced regularly?

    help -- zoo problems!

    So we got our first zoos this weekend (yay!) We came home, put them in a nice little spot at the bottom of the tank and a couple hours later noticed one of the crabs was all over it, pullin it outta the spot and clawing at it...
