    lol...I figured you had to be a women, with well over 7,000 posts!! You women love to talk...lol You know reefers that photoperiod caught my eye to...I assume, its the theory that cleaner, less nutrient water, allow in more light (PAR) per hour, hence shorter photoperiod...but please clue us...

    Greetings reefers! The coral in question is indeed a claudellia. I know because I have several colonies of it that are over 1 foot by 1 foot (very huge, fast growing coral). It is commonly sold as a young blushing finger leather, although it is not a sinularia or capnella. Doc

But to be truthful if something is amiss in our systems, and goes wrong and death results....its not so much the dead coral/s that really bother me...its finding out exactly what went wrong, to prevent the episode from reaccuring....must be troublesome losing...
