    Question about copper

    Ive read you dont want a tank that was ever treated with some sort of copper medication. Does this go for Acrylic too? Or just glass cause the silicon can absorb it or something? Im looking at a used acrylic tank to use for a sump, thats why Im asking and I dont know the history of the tank.

    New wavemaker w/MJ-1200's; have a few questions...

    Ive been using the same timer for over 3 months and it works great. No problems what so ever. I also use MJ's but they are not cut and I dont get a clicking sound. For $30 I think there a pretty good deal but Im a newbie.:)

    Introduction

    Heres a quick run down of my current set up. 60 gallon 12 gallon sump (looking for a bigger one) 80# live rock Ice cap/VHO set up. Buying new bulbs this week Berlin skimmer (will be upgrading) 4 Maxi jet 1200 on wavemaker Its been up and running for 3 months. Not the best system but its a start.:)
