I'm back! And I need a tank manufacture...

Hey, my name is Erik and I was pretty active in the Seattle reef scene and the PSAS back in the day. I am looking to get back into things! Due to Covid I am limited on who can help me move a tank right now, so that leaves acrylic as my option. I would love recommendations on reputable acrylic...

No worries Ed. I miss this hobby a great deal and met some great people during the few years I had the time and money to invest in it. Some day I'll be back and hopeful some of the good folks like you will still be around to help get me started up again.

    ??top Off And Kalk Reactor??

nielson top off is smoooth like butter. I use it everyday. Like Don said no worries. The General and Mrs. General - Head-'Banggers'

    Jiddy's 220g MASTERPIECE!

Run airline hose to the hole on the top of the u-tube. Run the other end to a venturi, either on a power head or a pump. Let is suck the air out of the tubes. then drop the tubes into the sump. That'll do her. Some put check valves on there. I just leave the tubes in place and silicone around...

    Red Bugs - Inevitable?

Good lord people... I don't think anyone will be tossing one to their cat and dog after they treat their tank, nor does that have anything to do with the intent of my post. I do not recommend dosing random pets with wild abandon or tossing your dog in your tank when you treat to kill two birds...

    Red Bugs - Inevitable?

Heh, I most certainly agree John as far as being responsible with any medication. I was just trying to make a point with a little humor by including cat and dogs ; ) -Erik

    Red Bugs - Inevitable?

I understand the concern for your livestock, but I am rather confused why people are concerned about gastropods, Echinoderms and anenomes when we are talking about a nuero-toxin designed to impact nematodes and select arthopods. This will not kills your anemones, your fish, your coral, your dog...

Sequence "dart" pump - good, bad, or ugly?

Many thanks for the info my friend. I think I will just wait to run my closed loop agian until they are shipping the new sequences. Until then I'll just have to stuff a few powerheads behind my rocks. Forgive the semi-thread-highjack -Erik
