Ok a couple Pics just cleaned it up with Vinegar....so far a couple very minor scratches noted, and some swirls that all look simple to manage :)
the BIG ass stand and canopy LOL 1 door alone must weigh 30lbs.....Think Ill make the sides of stand open up, make soem removable panels. for...
somewhere along the way Ill take a picture LOL, right now its a broken down tank that I am cleaning up today actually lol
when I get this thing on its build, Ill start a thread I suppose :)

Thanks Todd, NC2WA LOL I do try to learn things and read up.....but the 44G we have kinda was a stumbling entry LOL but fortunately I came on board this site very early on to steer toward the right direction :)

I did want to know about any Acrylic scratch removers.
rinsed out tank tonight (still had the film from being broke down and emptied, and the residual sand on the bottom)
so far no obvious scratches, but lots of coraline...
for an Acrylic tank, I intend to clean it up, scrape the old coraline growth, and polish any scratches I find.
I saw mention of a vinegar bath????? is this recommended?
and cleaning off old coraline, and water marks, is there a best way to do so?
absolutely, that is something I am good for researching. not much work on tank, itself. probably a minor scratch here or there...But I want to look at the sump design and plumbing.....I also want to research closed loop methods. and how to do that best.

Thanks, I will clean it and scrape out the coraline, probably polish or buff anything I need to yadda yadda yadda, but very good point when I do get it ready to store.......Unless by then I kinda succombe to the temptation to get it wet LOL
