    I would attach a pic but they are only a half inch across and hard to photograph. They came on my live rock and are spidery and triped purplish and white. They hide in crevaces and wave one tenticle at a time. I can't find an ID for them. Does anyone know what they are called?

    Hi Lee, 24 hours ago my ATO unit malfunctioned and 30 g of RO went into my 300 g system. My salinity went from 49.6 to 46.5 almost immediately. I'm sure my pH and temp went down a little too. I have since remedied the problem and am gradually bringing up the salinity. Now it is at 48.5, more...

    Finally getting close and would like your Input!

    I have the SWC cone 250 extreme and its is awesome - it replaced my Reef Octopus and ATI Bubblemaster. Its a much better design. As far as lighting I have an Aquatic LIfe 72". It works with reflectors and puts out much less heat than the MH I used to have. My corals are all flourishing.

    Very nice. The Hydrophora is fantastic. Did it take very long for it to get so big? I have a little frag I got at the swap in Sept but its not doing much.

    Tank tragedy averted (probably)

    I was just using a mechanical float valve. Like the kind in a toilet - that's how it was set up and I didn't even think about it it. In retrospect it does seem kind of feeble. I too am looking for a new ATO and am hoping to get some suggestions from this post.
