    I would see if someone in the forum has a file fish they may sell or lend you. I had some aptasia in my setup back in Washington and I purchased the file fish and it wiped em out. Then I just sold the fish.

    emergency in need of help fast

    Do you have another system you can put these frags in? or maybe on or two frags to see if it isn't something in the frag tank? Although, may not be a good idea if it is a parasite as this could spread it to your other system. Maybe dipping before that could prevent the spread. Just an Idea

    Pod Population

    IMO, it would take a much larger system with a well established pod population and a sump where the pods can reproduce with out being consumed in order to support a mandarin with out adding more pods at regular intervals. Yes, the other fish like em too, at least my clowns did.

    cycling issues

    I would consider putting in the rock as soon as possible. Right now you are waiting on the cycle to complete but if you wait, and then add a bunch of rock you may go through another cycle and delay the addition of livestock.
