    AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!! Woke up this morning to find a few gallons of water on the floor. Turns out my tank has chosen now to start to fail, looks like it may be leaking on the bottom. I'm at a loss for what to do! All fish an coral into my qt tank I guess till I can find a new tank?

    Never tried this and I have no clue as to the actual science of it, but just using thinking things and it seems that eventually, and rather quickly would be my guess, "small quantities" would just rise to the temp of the surrounding water. And if it did drop the water temp a few degrees it...

    Could it have been the 2.5g of water and not the lights? That just seems awfully small to try to keep anything and be successful.

    I'm running 108w total LED on my 75, I'd like to keep a clam, think thats possible? Fixtures are the marineland and the imitation by beamworks. 54 1w on each. I really should be researching clams not lights I guess...

    Can this fixture successfully light a reef tank?

    So, old thread here, but I'm curious about anyone's recent exposure to them. I currently run the 36" reef ready marineland and the 48" chinese knock off by beamworks. I wish I had joined this site prior to buying the lights and gone the DIY route, but I have em and don't see myself getting...

    Favorite Clownfish

    Love the Gold striped, had one for a while, had to take 2 ocellaris from my bro when he quit and those little buggers ganged up and killed it! been stuck with the pair ever since!

    Poll: Coralline Algae - Love it or hate it?

    What kind of ratio on the water/vinegar? I have one powerhead that is completely pink, I assume its running fine, the algae is just on the housing, but I'm sure it could use a good soaking!

    Newbie question...how do i control coralline algae? its everywhere on my tank, i scrap the sides and front but leave the back, the rocks and all filter pieces. i do like a minimal look but all pink tank is a little annoying!

    A few blue leg hermits, and a few other smaller hermits, an emerald crab, and a dozen or so snails of various sizes and types. I really like inverts, shrimp and what not, I want a sea star but have read that most aren't reef safe, know of any that are safe? Coral dip? You'll have to fill me in...
