    I'm running an aquac remora on my 8g sps tank. But when I did have a 10g, I ran an aquac on it as well. Caution on a skimmer in a small system... it'll put out alot of microbubbles

    Oh I am! I have 2 tanks. One is ONLY sps (8gallons, 12x12x12" cube). and the other is zoas (0.5gallons, 5x5x5" cube)

    Estoniangirl: yeahh i've seen his build thread on nano-reef. its pretty big though, 9x9x9, its almost as big as my sps cube. peppie: thankss, yeah go for it! nanos on RF are rare to come by as it is, despite picos... I gotta take a new picture of the tank, i've added a ton of new zoas.

    there are no negative/positive in using a different color sand. some people perfer a dark sandbed while others like the white color. i'll give you one thing though, if you use black, it'll be harder to spot detritus which is a plus because it'll look better even if its littered with snail poop...

    my guide to algae sucess.. hair/turf algae on rocks, astreas any green/brown algae on substrate/bottom, fighting conch. big leafed algae (lettuce or something algae) hand removal when it gets big enough.. lol
