    Actually, hydrometers are the ones that are temp sensitive, they are the ones that are calibrated at a certain temperature water.

    Oh and if you don't have bulkheads, you can make dirt cheap ones with pvc conduit fittings and a little bit of HDPE liner.

    Yes, brass will leech into the water. If I was you I'd get the barrels but remove the brass parts and replace it with a pvc ball valve. It looks like they are threaded on with prebuild female threaded adapter which would make the swap super easy.

    yup! thats the one. for my pico, I just cut a piece that perfectly fit the back of my tank and glued it in there. ghetto, but it looks great!

    They arrived 2 days ago, but I havent had the time to pick them up and solder them together. I'm planning to tomorrow though, so expect pictures tomorrow night :D

    Woah thats interesting... I actually have one of those acclea pump on my aquac, but I dont have the air line connected to it... Would it make the skimmer better if I had the air line connected to the pump in addition to the aquac's air injection system?
