    Thanks for the compliment and yes, i made it. Im sorry if it took me too long for me to reply. I also make Beckett protein skimmer and calium reactors on my spare time. reeffan

    Wondered why skimmer wouldn't skim!

    Yiiiiikesss, i have same problem in the past. I left the skimmer running for about 1 1/2 month without cleaning and thats what exactly happen to my beckett skimmer. Algea getting stuck in the injector nozzle is not a cool thing. So, i've learn that i need to clean it at least once week. reeffan

    Hey Eliyah, thanks for the info. Is this pump similar with SEDRA pump that euroreef skimmer use? Im just curious on how they work. Im in the process on making another DIY skimmer that uses needle wheel and im looking for another pump the cost less than the SEDRA PUMP. Thanks again........ reeffan

    Big T, it looks very good. By the way, what tool(s) did you use to make the o-ring. I have been using gasket for my skimmer and would like to know how to make the o-ring groove. reeffan

    I agree with BIG T on this one. I rather pay a little extra to just avoid getting shocked. I've been using MAG PUMPS and IWAKI's and to me, they work really well. reeffan

    I have simillar experience with the Rio's in the past. They tend to overheat and sometimes need to be jump start (bang-it to a wall or kick it before it works =). reeffan

    How far do you drive to work? Have the new gas prices affected you?

    I bought a 2004 toyota tundra and im about 25 miles from my home to work. My truck gets about 17miles per gallon and to fill the tank cost me $50.00. I love the truck but im thinking about riding the bus due to this "STUPID" gas price. Heck, i might find someone to carpool with.....=( reeffan
