    just shoowing off

Mine takes 29 lbs. It does look a little small and that's why I asked. I thought maybe it was the new one put out by another company. It should still work as well I would think...and maybe you get more mass for the same price? Anyway, it's great media IMO.

    Internet Only Holiday Specials

Hmmm...I understand. I didn't mean to be pushy but I probably would have bought the Elos kits on the first day if I knew what all the items are. Thanks for letting us know. The deals are all good so far on some quality stuff. Thanks!

Hey Cy, Can you post a full schedule so those of us looking for gifts can figure out which day(s) to buy? I would get some books, but maybe you have better stuff coming down the pike?

Very nice tank. Considering all that you have been through, quite an accomplishment to have such a clean, well kept system. Don't forget about the generous offer made at the beginning of this thread...

Yeah Dan, a cyphastrea occelina I picked up from Tyree at the Coral Farmers Market. It has changed form 3 times...looks a lot more like the one Sanjay has now. It used to be much smoother. Now the coralites are very pronounced. And Nelson...I know I should pull these frags off the rack, but to...

    Soyadrink's (Nelson) 50g

ah...when we drilled the tank for the powerhead, I mentioned that if he were to go to a classic sump design, he would have to put in a bulkhead with plug, or only use one half the back section as an overflow. I need a drawing or photo to see how it has been changed since we installed the...

    Soyadrink's (Nelson) 50g

that shouldn't be the problem and I hope I can explain this correctly: If you need the fine tuning of a gate valve to get it to balance out, then there's something wrong in the design IMO. What I mean by that is, if you get a change in pump performance, buildup on the overflow combs, or any...

    just shoowing off

Ordinarily I would agree with that, but in my experience, the corals I have that are directly from Tyree have been extremely hardy and very high quality. I don't know how to explain it or even if there is any reason for it, but while they have all been rather slow growers, they have also done...

better to redirect water back into the sump from a wide-open pump. Normally you put a "T" after the pump output with a line going back into the sump. This ideally should have a gate valve so you can ballance out the flow easily.

More frag rack shots...it's in dis-array after the recent issues.
