    CNC for acrylic projects

Well it seems we have a small army of Cad operators here. I too have Acad at home and would be willing to draw some plans if needed. I'm a bit old school though and only have 14 so I hope it still works.

I just did a 75 with a closed loop. I used an oceans motions super squirt and couldn't be happier with it.

    Please critique my sump/refugium

I don't see anything wrong with it but some people might have a hard time viewing your pic as it's on myspace and you have to log into myspace to view it. Not everybody has a profile i'm sure. I'm just a loser and do :).

easiest way to clean acrylic tank

I used Mother's Mag cleaner in combination with a cloth and hand sander to get the scratches out of my acrylic tank. Worked like a charm.

    Mandarin dragonet food?

Ok so maybe I'm just not informed but aren't they both the same thing just different species of copepods. I think the tiger pods are just larger. I would think that a larger species would cause the mandarin to eat less but I'm not really sure, just a theory.

    Roaming or Rolling LTA

10% weekly would be 40% monthly I would think that would do a pretty good job of keeping the ammonia down as long as you aren't overfeeding and skimming well.

    Roaming or Rolling LTA

A three week old tank is not mature enough for a anemone, unless you plan on religiously doing water changes to keep the spikes down. Anemones are sensitive to ammonia spikes.

    Large RBTA taking over tank.

I have a small one to trade but I live in Indianapolis and not sure if you want to ship that far.

    Large RBTA taking over tank.

I have had the exact same problem as you. I had to take the rock that the foot was attached to out of the tank and carefully remove the foot from the crevice of the rock. This can be very difficult especially if the foot is deep in the crevice. I have used a pair of tweezers to start removing...

The container is rigid. Are you thinking of those space bags like they show on late night infomercials. :)

    Carpet anenome and clown fish

I thought I read or heard somewhere that there was no such thing as a white anemone, but rather anemones that had expelled their zooxanthellae due to extreme temp swings or water parameter changes. I believe if this is the case the only way now for the anemone to get nutrients will be through...

    cilliates

A fellow seahorse keeper has lost a horse to a disease known as weak snick. Typically this disease is caused by parasites or cilliates that basically eat the snout from the inside out. The tank was torn down 3 weeks after she euthenasied her horse. There were no other horses or fish living...

Should I get rid of this?

Well it's only toxic if the fish eat an overabundance of it. Which they aren't eating it at all. It also rarely goes sexual like caulerpa racemosa.

    Cabinetry pics

Not to hijack this thread, just a quick question...is that pine wood you used for your canopy. Also Love the way its hinged great access and keeps the corners looking clean. Sorry for the hijack.

Should I get rid of this?

Looks like good ole Caulerpa Prolifera. I have the stuff in my Seahorse tank. It grows quite rapidly. So if you don't have it in there for looks like I do, then I would remove it as it can take over.
