    noctural species tank

    Well i keep squirell fish and a Bamboo shark and both are nocturnal, but all and all its more exciting to see fish out with the lights on. This just allows me to look at fish 24/7.

    Major melting issue!!

    I haven't done a dip but i did take three colonies to a LFS so that we could determine if its something my tank or just a freak thing. He did a fresh water dip at his store for about a minute and only some baby snails fell off. I don't see any white dots or any slugs/nudis on the zoas.

    i wouldn't turn your lights off completely but i would just run actinics for a day. That would better simulate a cloudy day than just lights off.

    Well what size tank/pond is it going in. Its gonna need to be rather big. I would suggest either a cortez or a yellow stingray. More the cortez than anything. They are rather small and very hardy. As for other rays, I would stay away from the blue spot ribbon tails. They have a horrible succes...
