    Depends on the trigger... My niger lets my cleaner shrimp run all over him as well as never bothers and of my inverts to include snails, crabs, cucumber, clams, anemone, coral and starfish.

    Well after doing some looking... compared to the PAR coral sees due to the sun... the 250W MH's are nothing.

    4ahh yeah the 5x2x2 is the 150... Yeah that is what matters I guess is depth and par. Ill order 2 of them see how it goes. I have been using the 20,000k 175 pulsrites with great luck. M58/E | 250W Metal Halide Bulb | MH250/T15/HOR/20K They are more like a 14k some say though.

    4x2x2 is 150g... 2x what I have but not much more in depth. I guess for $13 per bulb it wont hurt to try. I added the ATI bulbs today... the tank looks darker but the coral foresees more. I thin I may want to add another atinic or something. I was also reading that he bulbs have a break in period

    Well after about 4 months now with 2x 175W HM 20,000K's the tank dosnt look bright enough to me... The coral and clams are doing fine but I was thinking about upgrading to 2X250W's. I wouldn't have to change out the ballast since it will already support it but do you think 2x250W over a 75...

    Well it has grown... I talked with Raamiah who I got the rock from and he did say he has some blasto's in his tank that look like this... but he has no idea how it came out of this rock lol.

    They will look like this... I hate taking pics with my phone it blues everything out but a neon green center and purplish stem.. Just give them light and they will grow.

    I also never used it and my tank and fuge do well... I can see pod running all over the sump. I just added some crushed coral to the bottom of my fuge.

    well I was having some bacteria issues I found out since my yellow tang died =[... I'm guessing the small guys fell to it as well and the crabs took care of them =/ My Nems are not going anywhere I like them to much and so do my clowns.

    how often do you clean detritus from your sump?

    Same here, the sock helps. I have yet to clean my sump after a year... I do have a DSB in my fuge and have a few crabs and small snails running around in the sump as well. On my return section I have a large sponge that collects anything coming out of the fuge befor it does into the DT.
