    Bob Moore Frag swap

This was the best organized event thanks to this year's board's and volunteers' meticulous attention to detail and extra hard work. Awesome centralized and convenient location for all PSAS folks to gather and meet, great parking, tile floors, large venue with many vendors/hobbyists, very...

    luisse25's 90 gal tank

Wow such colorful and tight crowd of beauties... and you never rest easy, but always expand your collection! Most variety of corals per square inch I have seen :clap2: If you ever think about Ca reactor, let me know. In my experience a good regulator makes a huge difference, so do not skimp on...

New home for three musketeers - Marineland 93G cube reef build

Luisse25, got around taking some new pics long after frag swap... It was nice to meet you and many fellow reefers. Hope the zoas and frags are doing well. They started to grow out of bounds in my tank, since then I swapped/sold quite a few big pieces. Here are some recent pics. Quite different...

The Official PSAS Bob Moore frag swap 2013

Looking forward to this great event! Are the members allowed to bring frag tank setup and corals? If so, could you give logistics for this, such as available table space, power outlets, timing for setup, etc?

Thanks for the comments. Not sure what type clowns they are, they turned black body, with deep orange face/fins and white edges since I got them. The blue background is standard plastic/paper tank background sold at LFS, attached using the seaview (or something like that) oily adhesive. Has a...

    A little eye candy

Nice loripes. I assume you keep this under very strong light to keep the light overall lavendar/bluish color on it. One of my favorites!

Lights: I have 2x250W HQI directly above it (bulb about 10" above the frag). One is EVC 20K (same as Helios) running with PFO HQI ballast, and the other is 20K Coralvue (I suspect they are same) running with Icecap Eballast. MH on 9 hours. I also have 2x2-bulb T5 with Geisemann Actinic Blue+...

New home for three musketeers - Marineland 93G cube reef build

I will post tomorrow. Lights are out... Meanwhile, having fun in Photobucket (it changed A LOT since the last time I used it a few years back - WOW - you can do many things directly online. Liking it.): I need a higher res decent camera that can zoom (3.4Mpixel when cropped and enlarged...

GARF Bonzai frag GARF bonzai in the making... Interesting coral. The base goes through growth sprints... First it makes the rock that it will expand on all white (as if it bleaches the rock circling around the base), and then covers it in the next day or two. Very cool to see.
