    Measuring pH with my Apex ph probe. Water movement with two vortech mp 40's in a 100 g tank, plus the return which is divided and aimed towards surface of tank. No smokers in the house. Good airy room with lots of open windows most days.

    I would like to start a frag tanks system. Except for a couple of systems on BRS, I am not seeing much out there for a good frag tank set up. Looking for more than just a tank itself, but something with a stand, plumbing, sump, and possibly lighting, etc... Any ideas?

    Yes. I tried a nano a while back. I found it much harder to keep my chemistry stable than with a bigger system.

    I bought a couple of John Len liquid dosing pumps, and they each draw separately from my alkalinity and calcium solutions, and drip into my sump. I have one to dose in the morning, and one at night, so they don't mix. Each drips in over about a 45 min period of time. Runs at just over 1 ml/min.

    Yea, I agree. Just hooked up a couple of dosing pumps. Hopefully 2 part maintenance dosing will help me avoid alk drops and keep things much more stable.
