    Leather Corals losing lobes

    OK, Here are a couple photos of this coral. Notice the white patches at the base of the lobe. Almost looks like eat is being eatin by something. It apperas almost 25% of the lobes are affected. It all started quit suddenly Do you still think it is reproduction?

    I have a very healthy looking leather coral that has been dropping some of its lobes. They start separating at the base and in a week or so they fall off. Is this normal?

    Live Rock growing times

    I have started a new LRWF tank. It is four months along and doing pretty well. Everthing is cycling accordingly. However, I do not seem to be getting much organism growth on my live rock except some purple algae in a few areas. IS this about normal? do I need to be adding anything?:confused:
