    Chaeto in display?

Not sure about any problems with it in the display personally. But, one thing I do know for a fact is that the ball does not have to tumble to grow. On my old tank I used a HOB filter as a refugium with a chaeto ball packed it. It wasn't able to move at all and grew like crazy and very thick...

It is actually a long ways away from that hammer frag. Just looks right next to it from the way I took the picture.

Here are a few pics of the new baby maxima clam I got yesterday (I have some black screen over the tank on this side to acclimate it to the lights. So between that and my camera it is really hard to see its coloration.) It is already starting to connect to its rock. Should be able to burry...

I turned on my actinics real quick to take a peak at the new clam since it was opening up. It does look like a gold maxima and has sweet patterns. Must have been the lighting on the BR tank that made it seems a little more on the blue side. Super happy with it so far.

Thanks to everyone at BRA for putting on such a nice sale. It was great to finally get over to see the shop today on our way back home, and to get the baby maxima we picked up as well ;).

Tank Update: Just got back from a mini vacation with the wife in Downtown Seattle. We hit the Barrier Reef sale on the way home today and I got my first clam! It is an ORA maxima(only about 2") that was labeled as a gold maxima but looked more like a blue to me in the store. I just finished...

    Customer Appreciation Sale 2011

Hey Cy, if I got a raincheck on a couple livestock items would I be able to have someone else use my raincheck to pick the items up for me at a later date? The wife and I are planning a trip to Seattle that weekend and will be in on Sunday morning before heading back east (excited about our...

    125 progression thread

I'm sorry, it burns that much worse when this kind of stuff happens when you are trying to do things the right way and it still backfires. The fact that it hurts so much shows how much you really care for your fish. I wish everyone in this hobby provided the care and emotional investment that...
