    I don't think they will actually add any noticeable light benefit to the corals. They will just add the shimmer effect for the most part, or can be used as moon lights. The blue LEDs are very similar to the moon lights on an aqualight pro HQI/CF fixture. You are more than welcome to stop by...

    Peppermint shrimp have also been know to eat them, hit and miss though so if you go that route buy a few of them.

    Keep us updated on the stand progress and when you will need a hand lifting that beast onto the stand! You are going to need arm extensions to reach the back of that tank, and maybe just to reach the bottom front.

    New pictures. Playing with my macro lens

    Same camera, same lens, same problem. If not straight on it blurs, even though it looks clear in the viewfinder, the angle must be tricking the focus.
