All right! I bribed Napoleon (my coral banded shrimp) to come out and play - I actually got a great shot of him cleaning off his whisker.

Do you guys have any maps or schematics drawn up to give some idea of placement? We're going to be doing a DIY and a schematic or map for placement would give us an idea of what goes where for ideal coverage. Some in common widths would be great, say 4 foot and 6 foot?
Outstanding - glad that your brittlestar is improving - they are super cool to watch, especially if you treat them with a clam on the half-shell, etc. so they actually have to peel the meat out of the shell and work for their food.
Eartaker - thank you again for giving my big green Lurch-dude a...
Lurch's absolute favorite is a clam on the halfshell, then he has to work for it a little bit, plus the hermits clean up the shell afterwards. Mind you, this is NOT recommended if you have live clams or ever intend to have them in the tank with your brittlestar.
Eartaker has him now - :) He was definitely awesome! I hated to see him go, he was really cool - but he was starting to hang out trying to "trap" fish. He's go into big spaces where the fish would swim and kind of hover over where the fish would swim through, and then when they would go to...
When I had Lurch (my 20 inch green brittle) I had to feed him at least every other day, or I would see him lying in wait for my fish... The green ones in particular are hunters if they don't get enough to eat. He would move all around the tank during the night and knock things over - the last...
+++1 on the don't give up yet ~
You've got a great support group here, plus there's frag swaps coming up and I for one would be willing to help you out with a frag or two.
I had a bunch of aiptasia in my tank also - got a few Nudis from Crazyfish and they are meeting their maker in a big way - those little critters do an absolutely amazing job! I had a bunch of peps and they didn't do squat... I must have other goodies for them to eat, because they were ignoring...
+1 on the krill, silversides, squid and mysis - I cut into pieces also and feed them a variety. When I feed silversides, I cut into pieces about a 1/2" or so - 1 silverside feeds 3 RBTAs, a coral-banded and a bunch of hermits/peps.
Amazing tank - you obviously put a lot of love and effort into it - thanks for sharing! Beautiful corals - the draping and growing into each other is just gorgeous
