Thoughts on Reef Breeders Photon 48 LED?

Cool, do you have any pictures? I am considering either the photon 48 or a couple of evergrows. The main difference seems to be the color layout. How do you like the color layout? Any colors you feel there should be more or less of? Thanks

    my diy fish food recipe

That's a good idea for my next batch. I always like to have whoever watches my tank feed pellets and flakes as well, its just easier. Do you leave your auto feeder on the tank all the time or only when you go out of town? I've always assumed I couldn't use one due to salt creep??

    my diy fish food recipe

Just mixed up my first batch and my fish went crazy for it so I thought I'd share the recipe. I put some raw squid, octopus, shrimp, scallops, clams, mysis and seaweed in the blender with garlic guard (not sure if this is good for them but they sure love it), Zoe, and selcon. Then I flattened it...

    Wtb small submersible pump

Looking for a small return pump to mix up new saltwater and send water from a barrel to my tank. Would prefer to trade coral for it. Must be close to Tacoma. Thanks a lot! Sent from my Galaxy s2 using Tapatalk

    Fish in the sump

I tried to avoid 24/7 lighting because I like the idea of a pH stabilizing reverse cycle, but my macro just wasn't doing very good until I switched to 24/7. Everything is growing well now and I don't like the idea of "fixing" something that isn't broken. That being said, if nobody on rf is...

    Fish in the sump

I've read that plants do their growing when the lights are off but I've tried 12 on 12 off, and 18/6 and my macro grows substantially better with a 24/7 schedule. But I'll give the fish a nap when I get home. Sent from my Galaxy s2 using Tapatalk
