    What Creates Your Flow?

For my closed loop I am running a Dolphin 7500 thru a 2" MBV, discharging out of 2 sets of 7ea, 3/4 nozzels. The flow at each nozzel is 14 feet per second. This keeps everything stirred up good in the 240 gal tank. Rick

    Ocean-currents

I had 4 of them running in my 155 bowfront and found they are not worth the headache to keep them running. They are constantly stopping due to calcium, worms, sediment buildup. Now running Sea Swirls with zero maintanence. Rick

Do you use a check valve to prevent floods?

I believe that when the supply is 6" under the surface as is yours Ed, then you need to incorporate a vacuum break to stop the reverse siphon and maintain the static water level near the height of the overflow. If you rely on a sump to handle the overflow, it will have to have a large overflow...

    Sps Frags

I'm sorry that some of your frags did not make it. If they were any from my tank, I will work with you to replace them as I do have more that I can harvest.
