    Young percula clowns fighting

Just an update...Yes the clowns are defintely mating. In fact they are mimicing the older two but at exagerate rate. The whole family is moving into the new rose anemome...enough room for 6. Both pairs are going through a dance routine but the older two are less agressive.

    Hitchhiker Project

Hey I found a picture of the flatworm I found in my tank...couldn't get a pic of it..lost track of it. The book said they are very hard to photograph. It blends right in with the enviroment. The only reason I saw it was because it was moving. If I find it again I will try and die it a little...

    What is this creature?

This Cuke as we might suspect is only 3/4 inch long. It was attached to a rock like a Chiton. I had to pry it off with a knife...gently and with care as not to harm it. Is there another subspecies or a family between them?

    Young percula clowns fighting

Thanks Terry, That make sense now...they seem to swim together at night but not at first the first week. One is becoming more submissive but the one goes to the bottome of the tank or is forced to the bottom by the other when feeding occurs. I am not sure the one is getting enough food.

    Young percula clowns fighting

I have two percula clowns that were great together for a couple of months. Then I added two Ocilaris Clowns...mated pair that are 4 time the size of these two young ones. One week later one percula began to chase the other and fight ..practically nonstop. The Ocilaris Clowns leave them alone...

    Carbon Use

I run my carbon passively in a sock but only for 7 days...works fine and then 14 days off. I got this from Marine Atlas vol 1. I rinse prior to using. Some people use carbon all the time to prevent coral wars from breaking out so they leave it in 24/7. Is that why you have it in your tank 24/7?

    Lets Talk about ~Algae~

Algae alternatives So......now we understand that there are bad side effects to algae...not good for SPS as I clearly understand in my own tank now.
