I think the skimmers really help either...

I love it.....I have absolutely no algae problems now....the only problem I am having now is a hitchhiker on my pipe organ frag that I got a while ago.....It had one of those zooanthid eating nudi's on it.....and so far it has managed to work on eating some of the polyps on it, but I am not too...

CHEck out my new live stock

I had some red gorgonian in my 90 gal reef once....( I got the whole set up for free and it was included...) I never really had trouble with mine except that everywhere I put it, somehow it would always get knocked loose....and eventually that was the only downfall I had...it never really died...

    Fragging softies

When I fragged my kenya tree...I just cut some of the branches off....I dont think it matters what size the branch is.....I just cut some big branches off because mine was huge...like 18 inches tall when I did it....but even the frag I have from it now that is like 6 inches has already dropped...

ok heres a question that has been boggling me for a little while....

As stated above.....I was wondering if there is an average life expectancy of coral.....does it die at a certain age, or if you keep it in good conditions all the time would the colony just live forever???

yeah it was a crumbled peice of concrete I got right by the railroad tracks....I rinsed it off real good and then I had it in a freshwater tank for like a year, and then I decided to use it as base rock when I set up the nano....
