    yes, has to be kent tech m to deal with bryopsis, because it is magnesium sulfate, not magnesium chloride, apparently the sulfates attack the bryopsis at a molecular level and it kills off the algae, not to mention adding excessive amounts of mag helps your coralline algae take off!

    Too much light - Burning my corals

    yes, I would acclimate your corals to the tank's lighting slower, it can take weeks to months for some corals to get accustomed to new/different lighting, especially if it is high intensity halide lighting.

    Kind of obvious at this point, but that is alot of light, almost way too much for the soft corals you have now. Use the light, get some SPS and see how they do. Have you been keeping up with your water changes? How old is your halide bulb? IF anything, throw some macro in there to help eat...
