    i own an acrylic tank i have learn the hard way to just use a acrylic scraper, i also use a mag 8 magnet with acrylic pads works well.

    danm maybe i need to stress them every month lol with my water changes i do a 200g water change every 5-6 weeks.

    Lil update, i think my clown fish didn't like 2 of anemone i saw him literary kill it like a bulldog on a cat i dont think one its gonna make it :( trying to save the other one :( we will see.... More updates as they come avail....

    If you can install a small refugium do it u will see improvemnets in a week or soo. Make sure water flow slow tru the refuge so palnt can "eat" the food (nutrients in the water)

    Yea but it doesnt help he adding more bad stuff in to his aquarium, i agree using an refuge is the best way i use a 6' long refuge in my 600gal tank i have no algae prob in my display or anyther problems.

    It depends on volume media the calc reactor hold and the size of co2 bottle u have. Im figureing mines will last bout 8 months. Long run is cheaper and easier. Imo

    WELL MY REAL TOR COST ME BOUT 70-110 EVERY 7-9 MO DEPENDING ON THE BOTTLE SIZE, I'LL BE USING A 10LB BOTTLE SHOULD LAST ME BOUT6-8 MONTHS THE CALC REATOR USUES I THINK 15LBS OF MEDIA. THIS THE ONE IM PUTTING TOGETHER http://www.marinetechnical.com/page12.html

    Usually yes, depends on the corals u have and how much calcium they are using, usually yes. In my 600g i was doing almost 90ml a day for like 2 yrs. Steady calc dosing is best.

    Calc reactor is a way to go, i have a 600gal reef i was dosing for like 2 yrs now i have a calc reactor i dont have to worrie bout adding calcium.

    Tater i read it seems nice but i didnt see that comes with a di filter if it doesnt you need to add it, i bet it def will go down toless than 3 or even 0. What are the tds going in to the ro unit from the faucet?

    Tre like you said maybe u like to have one that a lil more, u can adjust if need to. From sump to you tank you will loose h.p. Like a 900 gph it might be fine.
