    My new 120 upgrade

Matt, Move that double union ball valve closer to the OM or add another just bellow it. If you feel you have something long enough, and easy enough to get under the drum to push it threw the top, then do nothing. I would try out removing the drum as if were stuck the way it is now and see what...

    55 gal Plumbing changes

Looks like he is going to use a AquaC urchin pro in the sump where the return from the tank comes in(kind of hard to see).

    Updated 300 gallon pics

Nice looking tank Charlie. Do you have any pictures of the pluming and support equipment?

    My new 120 upgrade

I also noticed that you do not have valves on each of the exits on the closed loop. You will end up draining half your tank when the OM 4-way needs servicing.

    My new 120 upgrade

Matt nice job on the pluming it looks like you’re a spa flex master now. One thing that I have run into while using an OM 4-way is that the barrel gets jammed from lack of cleaning, calcium build up sometimes small chunks of rocks. Any way you need to make sure that you can get a bottom so you...

    DieselDave's 175bow front Project

I plan to use no sand. I will do my best to make sure that there are no areas collecting detritus in the main display. I’m sure I will occasionally have to blow it around so it can hit the over flows and settle in the sump Thanks for lookin out for me Krish.

    CO2 tank for multiple purposes?

You could do just one tank with a spilt to a second needle valve to regulate the bubble count independently.

    DieselDave's 175bow front Project

Thanks for the compliments and comments everyone. No bio-balls for me please. I will be pulling out the filter tray and letting the water fall the 6-7 inches in the main sump chamber. I did toy with idea of putting some rubble in place of the bio-balls, but I think the sediment in the rocks...

    DieselDave's 175bow front Project

So it is time for me to get off my bottom and get this project going. All the equipment and the tank I have had for about 6-9 months sitting around collecting dust. Everyone that visits always ask, “When are you going to set that thing up?” So this last week I have been busy and hope to have...
