    can coralline be green??

    im not sure if this is all coralline algae its on my old and new tank its a olive green and is mixed in with the purple coralline looks exactly the same but just green......any idea?

    how to clean acrylic tank.....

    yeah i went ahead and ordered the novus 8oz kit with all three of them and buffing cloths...not too bad only $24 :) now....only if the magnet that i have to get for my tank was only $24 lol....im going to have to get the 3/4"-1" one thats like $130 :mad: guy that made my tank wasnt the smartest...

    ive heard that ROWA phos is a good one that is what i went ahead and bought...not sure on any other brand but seems to work really good ive been useing it for about 3 weeks or so got rid of most of my hair algae :D the rest is slowly going away.

    what type of sps is lower dwelling....

    im wondering what type of SPS can be a little bit on the deeper end of the tank my tank specs is.. 32 gal. w/ 150w metal halide 14k pheonix, (4) 24w T5s. 24" 24" deep and the light is hanging at about 3-4" off top of tank. where im wanting to put some SPS is about 14" deep about 2/3 down in...

    how to clean acrylic tank.....

    ive allways had glass tanks in the past but my new SPS tank is acrylic ive been using cotton cloths for the outside so it wont scratch it seems to not be scratching but is there any easier way to clean the outside and or inside...on the inside i use a 24" scraper pro with a plastic...

    current lvl is 10 nitrate and no it is a clams, sps and rare zoes tank...that is why im worried about this lvl :cry:

    i was under the impression that with a sandbed of 2"+ you shouldnt have to stir it up much....so should i be getting all the junk out of the sand when i do water changes? i do a 5-10gal. change every friday. my display sandbed is 2" and my fuge sandbed is 3"

    yeah ive tested makeup water and its clean...i use a RODI unit that is brand new from TFG. I actually run both a tunze 9010 and a small refuge...:confused:

    for some reason i cant seem to get the nitrates on my new tank to go down under 10 :mad: ive been doing water changes but probably not enough once a week 5-10gal. on a 32gal tank. main thing i was thinking is the sand needs to get established and then it should be fine has quite a bit of air...

    the highfin is pretty cool looking.. just kinda makes me weary on it due to having a yasha hashe goby and hes allways on the bottom :confused: lol my g/f would kill me if he ever got picked on. :oops:

    bad snail???

    im looking for a few more fish for my SPS tank...curently i have a 2" flasher fairy wrasse, and a yasha hashe goby (small) was looking into these fish: pair of picasso clowns... couple of sunburst anthias...(think these will eventually get way too big?) some sort of blenny....maybe a Indian...

    on my new SPS tank its been going for almost 1.5 months. i know there is allways the algae cycle...but could there be other things feeding the algae. i have a phosban reactor running on it with Rowaphos and also running 1.5 cups of ROX 0.8 carbon in my overflow. tank params are at: PH 8.3...
