Man, I have a long one!

Thanks guys, I do have a pic of the sump and simple greenhorn plumbing job lol. I've added an ASM skimmer, chaeto and fuge light to the sump since this pic.

A few more big Tanks in the process in Tri-Cities.

Hey Ed, Sorry for the hi-jack. I guess I should've started from page one of your thread. I read the title and thought that... You have an amazing tank. I'd love to see it in person. :D

Anyone ever order from this place?

I came across this website the other day. It looks like a pretty good deal on their Aqua Medic look alike HQI's. http://www.fishneedit.com/150w-metal-halide-pendant-lig.html

Sticking with my 70 or switching to my 55?

Thanks for the input guys. I think that I've decided to stick with the 70 and add a powerhead or two.

Sticking with my 70 or switching to my 55?

When I first got the LR I took a piece outside and grabbed a hammer and chisel, started to hammer on the chisel and the chisel went into the rock about 3/4 of the way and got stuck lol. For some reason, this rock doesn't want to be broken into pieces.

Sticking with my 70 or switching to my 55?

Yeah, K4's. Was thinking about doing the MJ1200 mod but I kinda like the motion that the Koralia's give. I think that I'll take a few large pieces of rock out this weekend and see how many small pieces I can make. Kinda getting tired of the boulder look, ya know?

Sticking with my 70 or switching to my 55?

True. Maybe I need to think about getting a couple more koralia's for the middle and just keep the 70 going. Hey, what happens if you take a large sledge hammer to a large piece of LR LOL! Anyway, thanks for the advice guy's.

Sticking with my 70 or switching to my 55?

Latley I've been toying with the idea of taking down my odd sized 70g (82"L X 14.5"H X 13.5"D) and setting up my 55g acrylic tank. I'm having trouble with aquascaping and keeping the flow going all the way through the 70. My 55 is a new tank, no scratches at all and it wouldn't be that hard to...

    Skimmer ?

Aqua C also sells higher collection cups if your worried that it will skim way to wet. I have a remora pro w/mag3 and the thing skims way too wet so they're sending me a new higher cup. I believe that he said it was 7"H and for modding your pro w/ a mag 5.

    ASM G2 a good skimmer?

I should've listened to skimerwhisperer while I was in the market for a remora pro, very poor skimmer. I picked up an ASM G2 w/Sedra needle wheel pump used for $75 Anyone have any experience with these? Just wondering if I got ripped. Thanks!
