    Well i went and did it.... I added a 60 gallon frag tank plumbed into the system in the garage. This puts my water volume a bit over 500 gallons. The frag tank has t-5s over it. Going to use it as a SPS / zoanthid grow out area

    Anyone use NSW from the Puget Sound?

    Well i had one experience with saltwater from the Seattle Aquarium when we had the reef show in seattle couple years ago. The salinity was low and it had super low alkalinity. It was so bad the corals where pissed off and never opened up. A vendor across from us lost several of his corals...

    I personally really like the bubble blaster pumps. Look into a bubble blaster 5000, they also released a DC version of it too

    actually those are hydriods, just about as bad as aptasia. The best bet is to boil or leave the rock out to dry and that will kill them off
