    Most stations in the Cleveland area are $3.09 for reg. I usually use premium ($3.29) but yesterday I filled up with the medium grade. Still cost me over $60 to fill up :( . So far no ill effects on the car (no pings)...

    Voted Other. I use a combination of 3. Mag 12 on 2 returns, Mag 9.5 on a closed loop with SCWD, and Tunze 6000 on multi controler. (All in a 65 gal. :) )

    The thing was about 3mm in diameter. Didn't resemble a syphon at all. I think it was some kind of worm. Maybe a peanut worm. Isn't that what pink elephants eat :)

While I was feeding the tank after the halides went off a snake/trunk like appendage emerged from the rockwork (like an elephants trunk). Uncoiled and spewed a dense white substance.     DSB at about 5" of fine aragonite, in a 65 gal. with mag 12 return, mag 9.5 on a closed loop thru chiller AND a Tunze 6000 on a controller. NO sandstorm. :) Tom

    Try Hamilton Technology. I've had many dealings with them and have always been very satisfied. Have bought retrofits, bulbs and complete canopies. I highly recommend them. Tom

    Lighting Question

    Hi Becky You could, but why? Two 250 DE are enough for a 48 in. long tank. Each bulb (with reflector) should cover a 2 ft. square area of your tank. Color balance (to your taste) would be achieved by the T-5's. The extra heat of a third MH could also be a problem. Just my opinion. Hope it helps...

    Favorite Clownfish

    Gold striped Marron Clown for me. Can be bullies (especially the female), but I love the color and body shape. Second favorite is the Ocellaris Clown. Tom

    The Blues Here is a pic taken under actinics. Kind of artsy. The same corals that glow under actinic glow under the PFO moonlights, which leads me to believe that they must be emmitting light in the actinic spectrum. Tom

    Show me your full tank shots

    Here is mine from 10/25/04. Unfortunately I was doing some "cleaning" and accidently destroyed the slimer in the upper left back. broke it into 4 pieces. (frags anyone? :D ) Also broke the hydnophora (front left). I grew them from small frags over the last year. Oh well, they will grow back.

    Thanks Guys, The tank is a 65gal. AGA with twin overflows. DSB. MUD filter/refugium. Mag12 return. Mag9.5 CLS via SQWD and chiller. 2 300gph powerheads behind the rockwork. Remora HOB skimmer. Korillin Calk reactor. Lighting is now 2X250watt 20K XM + 2X96watt PC (10K and 03). I think that is...
