    Mike I've been reading through the bk and manifold assembly and the plumbing dummy in me can't figure out how that 1" closed threaded nipple fit the 3/4 BK or the 3/4FIPT by 1 1/2 slip. I know it's only 1" long but what is this for? Got to be patient with me Mike I never paid attention to this...

    Here are some pics during the making of the overflow. I ask my friend Teddy to do it for me after work. Slots are 5.5mm opening and 15mm separating each slot.The maker couldn't fine a black acrylic so we made it all clear.I'll just have to stick a black tape at the back to hide the plumbing.

    What kind of crab would this be?

    When I took out my LR from my 55gal tank I got about 30pcs of this crab. :oops: They were fun to watch for a while but when you realize they were scooping out coralline algae? Time to take them out!!! :lol: :D

    Yeah you're right,for the coral that have algae attach to them I'll hold them to this tank and if they don't recover I'll cut my losses and get a new frag that is algae free.I'll try to join you in your algae thread.Thanks Nikki! :)

    Here are the corals that are in my 30gal tank. I remove the live rock for cooking as I'm battling hair algae infestation. Some of them have been affected by the transfer and hair algae as I didn't have time to take care of them well while doing construction work on the new house.
