    You are probably fine. They probably enjoyed the seasonal blend and the fish realized it was going to be a while before they got it again that is why they were going crazy, lol. Since you have done everything else I would make sure the surface is clean and free of oil and you are good to go.

    The only bad thing about coffee in that much water is the oil. Make sure to skim the surface as the oil may not be pulled out with the water change. I killed a whole aquarium once when my son used my measuring utensils for the fish to measure some vegatable oil for salad dressing the few drops...

    Seaweed

    I will probably do that except that i heard some say that nori made for human consumption has to many additives. What has been your observations of the fishes health?

    Molting or dead

    When there is nothing inside. It means molting. Generally, with shrimp if you have crabs and they die you will never see anything till you do a complete cleaning and you still may not see anything. If it was a recent death you would see uneaten parts attached to the exoskelaton

    zoas and algae

    I just soak live rock that has algae that i cant scrup off in HO. But I wouldnt try it on anything that i wanted to keep. So I wont try it on any of my corals.

    I am going to cheat to get rid of the half gallon in this equation. In addition to my tanks i have a brine shrimp hatchery 4442.5 + .5 = 4443 finally no more .5 LOL

    Starter Coral

    If you are doing a toadstool and some zoa and they are doing ok. CandyCane is one of the easiest lps. Consider some target feeding ocassionally at night and you are golden. Just adjust there position in the tank to get right light and flow. Mine do well in medium light medium flow.
