He didn't say, just told him what I had and that I wanted to have a skimmer larger than what I needed. He recommended the 10-36 to me. The tank is full of RODi water, will be adding salt over the weekend. It is pretty similar I would agree, never liked MRC's prices though.

Sorry for the delays on updating. The skimmer I am using was built by Bashsea www.bashsea.com Its a 10-36" twisted skimmer hooked up to a Coralife Sl-65 air pump. Dont think you have to have the airpump as it will pull a lot of air in, but with the pump on there is a difference in the bubble...

For the center tower, I ordered some of Marco's Prime cuts (mix of single and double cuts). Use a double cut for the base and drilled a hole using one of his diamond bits. Using 3/4" pvc i just kinda randomly drilled (off center) different rocks and stacked them on the pvc. To post more than...

I will be adding sand to cover them. I wanted a raceway for my closed loops. 2 separate loops with two pumps. I will run one for 4-6hrs and switch to created a tide like effect..plus didnt want a bunch of holes in the bottom of the tank. I have considered putting some soft/sps/anenomes in...

Update!! I got the rock work maybe 95% done, I ran out of Marco Rock to finish things off, but the basic idea is here. I am needing a few bigger pieces to go on the right side/back to build up that wall and extend the far right leg forward, and some smaller pieces to cover up some of the...

I would think so. They didn't give a whole lot of details, just that it was coming out beginning of November and that the new pumps will be compatible.

:-) I keep eying some beauties on Divers Den, takes a lot to hold back on buying them until I know I wont have issues once the tank gets fully wet.

Got a few updates. Been working on my plumbing the last few weeks and finally got it done...except for the closed loop inside the tank. Not exactly how I want it, but will work for now. Shot of the light rack from above, still considering throwing some T5's on there for color Right side...

I'm not planning on sealing the lids, but I do have an exhaust fan that sucks the air outside. Homework and about 2 years of planning.

Few updates on my slow build. First, I got the mixing station plumbed and ready to be fired up, just need to move it into its final position and plumb the drain/overflow lines. Next I got my liverock tank and reactor tank plumbed up. I will be able to isolate either tank and also drain...

I actually had the house built around the tank. The tank was ordered prior to construction starting. So the hole was there along with all the extra outlets, and ventilation

I originally called The Tank Store - 200 Gallon Vertical Storage Tank <br>Part#41856 them direct and they referred me to a local dealer that had them in stock. I paid the companies list price which was cheaper than anyone else and didnt have to pay for shipping. Total savings of about $250 for...

I got them here locally, but went through a distributer, might have been tanksdirect but not 100% sure. I might do some softies and anemones but probably no lps or sps, the angels I want enjoy them too much. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 4
